R.E.D. Laboratories propose a more sensitive, Phelix Phage
Borrelia PCR assay for detecting Lyme Disease and Relapsing Fever caused by Borrelia bacteria species. To do this, we target a phage DNA sequence specific to
all Borrelia species: Lyme Disease and Relapsing Fever. Bacteriophages could
become a diagnostic tool based on the principle that if there are phages it is
because there are living bacteria.
